In December, editor Tracy Houk honored the time and effort of the women who wrote the wonderful stories in the book. A $300 donation was made to the Rawlco Mother Baby Unit at Regina General Hospital.

Farewell and Thank YOU Book and Brier
What sad news... Book and Brier is closing. The staff and John were so helpful to making this book a success. They planned a great launch and continue to recommend the day I gave birth: real stories, real women book to readers. They have worked hard to support all local authors and I so appreciate the advice and direction. Farewell Book and Brier and thank you!

British Columbia Launch
Thanks to Anita and Klara for arranging the launch in beautiful Vancouver at hip baby! They have chosen the BC Women's Hospital as the charity for BC book sales!

Wow, what a week! Requests for books have been amazing! The orders are pouring in! The response from readers has been great as well. I am so thankful! One woman told me she absolutely could not put it down... she read right to the end in one night! On Sunday, BC will get their own launch at hip baby. Wishing authors Klara and Anita a great afternoon celebrating their achievement!

a great launch!
Book and Brier Patch hosted the launch last evening.... the store was full of authors and their friends and families. Holly Armstrong read her chapter, Carter, beautifully and the crowd very much enjoyed her humorous story. It was wonderful to meet some of the authors for the first time! Thank you friends and family for a fabulous celebration! Next stop, McNally Robinson, Saskatoon!
